Not necessaily. The suicide rates in Japan are extremely high at the moment, which has nothing to do with autism at all.

Why do people with autism think like animals?

Autistic people do not think like animals. It is offensive to suggest that Autistic people (not 'people with autism') think like animals, we think like people because we are people.

How do people get autism?

A person who has autism, is born with the disorder.but it is probably passed down from the parents, meaning that the parents have it and when the child was born it had it. i am explaining it because i don't want you to think it can be passed down like a cold. but it doesn't have to be they can just be born with it by themselves.

Are emo people killing people?

I really don't think that's true but the answer really is no.NOT at all no that's an outrage. I would agree, Emos don't kill other people, i don't remember ever killing anyone. Others might say "well if they are not killing others then they are killing themselves" and i would disagree with that, because they are not trying to kill themselves, they only cut themselves because of their emotional pain and people are totally not helping when they start bullying them which might cause then to commit suicide.

If a draft is reinstated will people with autism have to join too?

Why cant autism be cured?

Autism isn't a disease, it is a difference in how the brain works - to cure autism would mean changing a persons brain so that they think differently, experience the world differently, and they would essentially no longer be themselves.

What is autisum?

Autism Also called: Autistic spectrum disorder (ASD), Pervasive developmental disorder (PDD) Autism is a disorder that is usually first diagnosed in early childhood. The main signs and symptoms of autism involve communication, social interactions and repetitive behaviors. Children with autism might have problems talking with you, or they might not look you in the eye when you talk to them. They may have to line up their pencils before they can pay attention, or they may say the same sentence again and again to calm themselves down. They may flap their arms to tell you they are happy, or they might hurt themselves to tell you they are not. Some people with autism never learn how to talk. Because people with autism can have very different features or symptoms, health care providers think of autism as a "spectrum" disorder. Asperger syndrome is a milder version of the disorder. The cause of autism is not known. Autism lasts throughout a person's lifetime. There is no cure, but treatment can help. Treatments include behavior and communication therapies and medicines to control symptoms. http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/autism.html >

What does autism do to people?

What is the name of the person studies autism?

A person with autism is said to be autistic. There are also specific forms of autism, such as Asperger's Syndrome, but there is no handy description for such a person, who would still just be called autistic, not Aspergeristic. A person with autism can be described as "a person with autism" or "an autistic person." Some individuals prefer the people-first phrasing - "a person with autism" - because they do not want others to think that autism is the entirety of their being. A person with Asperger's Syndrome is usually not described as autistic because it is not autism. Both autism and Asperger's Syndrome are autism spectrum disorders, also known as pervasive developmental disorders. Some people with Asperger's Syndrome refer to themselves as "Aspergians" or "Aspies," but others do not like them.
