Here's an example of a smoothie that tastes good with pineapple (it tastes like a tropical smoothie):
Ingredients:
a) 1/2 cup sliced pineapple (cut off the hard core/non-edible parts of the pineapple, and cut into bite size pieces)
b) 1 container OR 1/2 cup of strawberry, pear, or peach apple sauce
c)1/2 cup strawberry puree (which is 4-6 sliced strawberries, with a splash of water and a tsp of sugar, nicely blended into a puree)
d) 1/2 crushed ice
e) splash of milk OR juice
Instructions:
Put in strawberry puree, apple sauce, pineapple and ice into your blender. Top off with the splash of any juice, or milk. Blend in your blender (could be food processor, magic bullet, etc.) and blend for at least 10 seconds or once the smoothie becomes a solid color, and smoothie-like consistency.
Pour into a glass and enjoy!
