No, it inflates with poison though. I have been bitten by a spider five times and I have never bled. You just get an impossibly itchy lump, making it difficult to sleep. Most of the time they don't bleed because they are so small.
This was an old wives tale my cousin told me and looked around the web as she knew it worked but didnt know why. Seems webs have a large level of vitamin K in them and are sticky as well so they work like a bandage and the vitamins clot the blood. Watch out you don't pick up the spider with them and get large cuts looked at but works in a minor emergency. As always take wise advice and see a doctor to clean a large wound or one that is from metal or objects.
