Tadpole's tails do not fall off by themselves, but they can be bitten off. I do not know if their tails grow back. I am trying to figure that out right now because 4 of my tadpole's tails got bitten off.
No they don't.
no
Yes.
Some amphibians can. Salamanders can grow back legs, tadpoles can regrow broken tails, but frogs can't grow back legs. i am dating a hot guy!
When most frogs hatch they have a tail. They are called tadpoles or polywogs. As they mature they lose the tail and grow front and back legs.
Yes, tadpoles are baby toads. As they get older they get larger and begin to grow legs, slowly losing their tails. Eventually they grow into a toad. Voila!
Tadpoles aren't fish, but baby frogs. They grow legs and lose their tails later.
yes, tadpoles will eat other dead tadpoles if not fed, and sometimes if they are not fed they will nip at each others tails. hope i helped! :)
Frogs can regenerate their tails as tadpoles, but they lose all their regenerative capacity after metamorphosis
they grow back because lizards reproduce asexually
you tell me
No
a frogs growth cycle is metamorphic. they sart life in the water as tadpoles, and then eventually grow legs and shed there tails, makong them into frogs. toads have the same kind of growth cycle.
They are tadpoles when they hatch. later on, they grow legs and their tails disappear.
