How about spatter painting? Here's one variation: Place paper on table. Box over paper (with no top or bottom, and a window screen over the top. Use a toothbrush instead of a paintbrush, and scrape the paint over the screen. The result is a spattered look with a fine spray of paint. Variations: place objects over the paper to create a negative space. Older kids can create a variation on his celebrity screen prints. (Think colorful Marilyn Monroe times four) Photocopy, or scan a portrait of each child to make a graphic black and white image. Cut the black part out to create a stencil. Use a printing roller or spray paint over the stencil and you've got it. (Try spray paint or acrylic paint to make t-shirts)
