According to doctors, impetigo will rarely leave permanent scarring... but after successful treatment it is common for the previously infected areas of skin to suffer from Hyperpigmentation ( a slight redness or colour change) which can remain for up to 6 - 8 months, these patches wi ll slowly fade over time.

if you have impetigo, you should go see a doctor. they will prescribe medicine.

how do you no if you have impetigo?

it is most likely to get it around the nose, and mouth

its is normally red around the area

when it coats up, it looks like brown sugar or honey blisters

it is not a pretty sight

All types of herpes can leave scars. Scars are seen after herpes type 1 and 2, chicken pox, and shingles.
