It has been said that television has little real education value. I think this is true because for the most part, television has no educational value. Even so-called educational shows and videos such as Baby Einstein, have been proven to have little or even a negative effect on small children. Some television has little real educational value. Television used for purely entertainment has no value.

It depends on what you are watching. Some educational channels like the History Channel, and the Discovery Channel are very educational.

Are the real estate schools advertised on TV legitimate?

Generally speaking, most legitimate real estate schools do not advertise on television. They are usually reputable educational institutions that are well known and do not have to advertise via traditional advertising models such as the television. Instead, a lot of the real estate-related schools advertised on television tend to be schemes in which you pay a lot of money for what essentially amounts to a sales position. In some cases, what is being offered may not even be legal. If you are looking into a real estate school advertised on TV, you should definitely proceed with caution.
