Parents being odd or eccentric have nothing to do with a person being atheist or religious. For instance, my parents were hardworking Christians, and so was I. While I was in seminary in 1996, it dawned on me that what was best for me to become atheist after careful thought and some turmol. I am not too odd, but I have much more reason and logic than previously.
If by "Fairly Odd Parents" you mean the TV show it is difficult to determine. No doubt extreme Christians might find it to be another atheist plot. However the existence of supernatural beings such as the fairy god parents seem an unusual vehicle for that message. More probably it is montage of children story staples - magic events, fun hating adults, brave children beating the odds, and so on.In the same manner that The Simpsons could be interpreted as a commentary on Canadian American relations as typified d by Ned and Homer with side issues of religion , Immigration and corrupt politicians and capitalism.
