But in my opinion i think that one of the great modern chefs must go to someone who has a great passion for food. someone that doesn't swear for the sake of it, but to someone who has has had a great knowledge in the fine dining areas and who diserves a reconidion.
You may have seen a person just like this on masterchef the professinals. yes, its Michel Roux Jr. i believe he has a real passion for cooking and in my opinion, one of the greatest chefs of this time. he has a two michelin restaraunt in London mayfair called Le Gravroche. And not only is this person a master at french cusine, but also a real british at heart. He was recently in a show called "The Great Gritish Food Revival" and i found his speech on a simple subject such as bread to be extremely intersting. So if anyone asked me "Who is the greatest Modern Chef" i would definatly say Michel Roux Jr.
