There are 27 bones in your hand.

There are 26 bones in your foot. (There are two sesimoid bones in you Big Toe but that is usually not counted.)

The both have the same structure. Like they both have 14 phalanges, they both have 5 bones in the middle called Metacarpal (in hand), Metatarsal (in foot), and they both have the wrist/ankle bones (tarals, and carpals). This is because they both have the same movement therefore they should also have the same structure.

The wrist bones are called carpals (there are six, I believe). The "long bones" that make up the palm of your hand are called metacarpals (there are five in most humans). Each finger is made up of 3 phalanges, except for the thumb, which only has two. Please correct me if I'm wrong -- this was an exercise in High School Biology (almost 10 years ago!)
