The Assyrians were warriors and were mean because since they were in a area where they could be attacked, they became warriors. Sumer and Babylonia were peacful, educated places and didn't have to train for war since they were protected in their city- states. By the way, Sumer is a region. You may be talking about Sumer's city- states. Babylonia was maore educated than blood- thirsty

They are not that different, they are actually very similar. Assyrians descended from the Sumerians and Akkadians.
