There are many ways one person can help prevent child abuse. One way is by setting a good example. Another way is to speak up if you see a parent, or guardian, going over board in public. Reach out and offer to babysit for someone that needs a break. Be a mentor to pregnant young adults.
The International Network for Prevention of Elder Abuse was founded in 1997 by Rolsalie S. Wolf. It was incorperated in May of 1999. Its purpose is to help in the prevention of the abuse of the elderly.
If child abuse is suspected, you should report it to help the child! You can call your local Child Protective Services(CPS). The call is confidential.
