I had the same problem, because I have a non-skid bathtub. I used every product and nothing. I then bought Comet, it comes in an orange container with green lid and it removed the dirt with no fuss. I didn't even use a sponge. I just wiped it with my hand (with a glove on) and the dirt "dissolved", then rinsed. Hope this helps!
