How can you tell tell if ma guinea pig is male or female?

to tell if the guinea is, press the stomach if it is a female then their will be a V in the genital place, and if it is male then the foreskin will retract and you will see the penis.
guys have penis' and girls dont. Adult male guinea pigs have very obvious genitals. Just hold them up and check if they have them.

• Well you have to look at their bottom. For a boy they will have a boy part sticking out and for a girl they will have nothing

• You can tell if you take them to the vets. the vet can tell because he will feel for testes which only the males will have.

• Girls are normally a little more shy than boys personality wise

• Gently turn your guinea pig onto it's back in your hand. Gently but firmly press two fingers, one on each side, around the area slightly above the pig's rectum, where you would normally expect genitalia to be. You will see a little hole. This is where you want to press around. Where you would expect to see a penis, if it's a male, it will appear. If not, it is a female.

• Check its genitalia. A penis would indicate you have a male, a vagina would mean female. Anything else and you've got a problem.

• Male guinea pigs will have testicles (as long as they have not been neutered). They are small but noticeable.

You have to actually flip the piggy over (gently!) and look. You could bring it in and have an exam on the piggy. They're not expensive, when I went in it was around 15-20 dollars.

Hold a guinea pig up right. You will find a small pink circle with a dot in it. Push the area above it. If it is a boy, two ovals will appear next to it. If girl, there will be no ovals.

Try the sexing thing if you don't know listen up please. Press right above the Y by their butt. A penis will come out if it is a male guinea pig. No penis will come out if it is a female. If you want an easier way you've come to the right place. You look at their nipples. The male's nipples are short. The female's nipples will be longer than the male's.
Usually you can tell if any animal is a male or a female by trying to find a penus (if it has a penus that means its a male).

An easy way to tell if you piggy is male or female is by pressing right above the private area. If your guinea pig is a boy, the penis will stick out. If it is a girl, then nothing will stick out.

Sometimes the girls will have a small bump. But if the parts look like this Y it is a girl and if the parts look like a O above I then it is a boy.
