Jim Varney, best known for that lovable, zany character, Ernest P. Worrell, smoked heavily for over 30 years due in part to watching 007 spy, James Bond, smoke. Mr. Varney did not, however, allow pictures to be taken of him smoking, holding a cigarette or putting one out. He did not smoke in movies, either.
