Why should you show agape?

Agape to Christians means selfless love and whether or not you're a Christian you should be as selfless as you can. Imagine a world where nobody cared for anyone but him/herself? Chaos would ensue. Selfless love inspires people to think of more than themselves and gives them hope of something better. As Christians we know that Agape love is the love that God gives us and that we are instructed to emulate that sentiment and behavior among one another.
