um ok so Justice Wargrave faked his death in the story, and while averyone thought he was dead, he kept murdering people. He played mindgames on most of them to trick them.

Ethel Rogers was overdosed with sleeping drugs,
General Macarthur had a blow to the head, as well as Thomas Rogers
Emily Brent had a small amount of sleeping draught put in her morning coffee and died,
Doctor Armstrong didn't think the Judge was the murderer and was tricked and died,
William Blore was killed by a bear-shaped clock that was dropped on his head,
Vera Claythorne was alone with Lombard and shot him,
and she felt guilty for her past and Lombard and hung herself
In Chapter 4 of "And Then There Were None" by Agatha Christie, the guests at Soldier Island are unsettled as they discover that a mysterious poem has appeared in their rooms accusing them all of different crimes. Tension mounts among the guests as they begin to suspect one another and fear for their own safety. The chapter sets the stage for the escalating paranoia and fear that will continue throughout the rest of the novel.
Justice Wargrave had been the murderer. He left it in the manuscript at the end of the book.
