Owain Glyndwr was a noble man and he became prince of Wales in 1400. He took charge of Wales and made it better. He fought in loads of battles with his army and took over the town's and castles of Wales.
Nothing is known of Owain after 1412. Despite enormous rewards offered he was never captured. Tradition has that he either died and was buried at his estate in Sycharth or on the estates of his daughters' husbands --- Kentchurch in Herefordshire or Monnington. His son refused a pardon until 1421 when he finally accepted it. This is believed to be because his father Owain was still alive and living out his life under an assumed identity. However, there are no real records to confirm either. Historians usually aim for the 1412 period because of his lack of appearance

Wales fell to the power of England in 1282 on the death of the last Welsh Prince of Wales, Llywelyn ap Gruffydd, or Llywelyn the last, grandson of Llywelyn the Great. He died in an ambush at Builth in Powys on December 11th, mid afternoon. It was thought that the ambush was a minor skirmish and that he was killed by accident but letters have since come to light that tell that it was a deliberate act to end resistence in Wales. Acts of union were later passed, but in reality it all ended on December 11th 1282.
Llywelyn the Last's name in Welsh was Llywelyn ap Gruffudd.
