Taboo (Jaime Gomez) replaced Dante Santiago (he was apart of the group of friends) They then called them The Black Eyed Peas They needed a main vocal singer so they asked Nichole Scherzinger but she was forced to decline because she had signed a contract with Eden Crush so they featured Fergie in one of the songs and then decided she was great so now she is currently in The Black Eyed Peas !
