∙ 14y agoThe car gases (petrol) are harmful to the environment because it destroys the ozone layer and the carbon dioxide stays in the atmosphere adding to the global warming problems. Did you know a car pumps more gas into the air whilst starting up and reving than it does whilst normally driving :) the green house gases such as carbon dioxide is left in our atmosphere. however the deforestation caused when rain forests are burned down. The smoke causes pollution alongside cars that let off toxic fumes.
