As I'm sure you know, some Spiders make webs that catch their prey. Other spiders catch their prey in other ways. Once caught the spider may wrap its prey up in its silk.
Spiders next inject their prey with digestive fluids that turn their insides to a sort of mush. The pre-digested fluid is then available for the spider to suck out.
Some of the larger spiders have tooth-like projections on their mouthparts. These spiders can chew the body of their prey to make more of it get digested and made available for them to suck into their stomachs.
When available bats will eat spiders, however some spiders will also eat bats. Watch Spider kills Bats at NationalGeographic.com.

Bats eat a variety of foods including fruit, birds, fish, and frogs. Those bats that dine on frogs instinctively know which frogs are safe to eat. They do this by listening to the mating calls of male frogs.
Some spiders eat bats by regurgitating digestive juices on them to break it down. Then they slurp up the liquid.
It depends on the size of the spider, and the size of the bat.
