Im not sure if its different on any other versions of windows, but on windows 7 you save the movie for the computer. Then windows dvd maker recognises the file type. You are then able to add a menu to the movie.
Hope this helps :) ♥
Microsoft. As is Microsoft Windows Movie Maker.
The video has to be Published/Finished in Windows Movie Maker first before you can upload it anywhere.
The first release Windows Movie Maker was included with Windows Me in 2000. However it was not available in Windows 2000, which was released in the same year as Me (2000). Version 1.1 was included in XP in 2001.
The easiest way to create a video in Windows Movie Maker is by using the Auto Movie feature.Just import all of the media you wish to use in the project and click the Auto Movie button. It will take all your media and create a ready-made presentation for you. You can change any of the effects/transitions individually afterward if you like.
Upload to Youtube and use the code.

Yes.You can import the video back into Windows Movie Maker again (as long as it is in the correct format for the program) and extract pictures from frames using the "Take Picture from Preview"feature (only available on v2.6 version).Unfortunately, WLMM (Windows Live Movie Maker) does not have this feature.

You need to download the video project from Windows Movie Maker onto your computer. From there, you will be able to upload the video file onto YouTube.
No. Unfortunately Windows 7 operating system does not include Windows Movie Maker, Windows Photo Gallery or Windows Mail. However, Windows 7 users are offered downloads for Windows Live Essentials which includes those programs (Windows Live Mail, Photo Gallery and Movie Maker). The only problem with the Windows Live Essentials programs is that they are 'stripped-down' versions of their predecessors, lacking many features/functions.Windows 7 users can download the actual Windows Movie Maker v2.6 (for Vista) though. A direct link to the 2.6 version download can be found in the Related Links on the bottom of this posting.
Yes. Youtube accepts videos created with Windows Live Movie Maker. There is even a feature in the program that allows you to Publish to Youtube automatically.
You can't get any projects from Windows Movie Maker (Vista) to play on Windows Movie XP. Windows Movie Maker project files (MSWMM) need to access the original source files in order to play the project. Therefore, if the original source files are not available on the system you are attempting to open the project file on, then the can't be displayed. The only way you can get a Windows Movie Maker project file (no matter what version) to display on another computer is by first Publishing or Finishing the movie. This process mixes down (exports) audio and video properties into a Standard Viewing Format.
