How do you answer why you are a Christian?

You answer I am a Christian because I have been saved by Jesus Christ. If you don't know that answer in your heart you may not be a believer. The Bible makes it clear, "Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you-- unless indeed you fail the test?" (2 Corinthians 13:5). If you don't know I encourage you to read the bible and pray and repent of your sins. For we humans are sinners by nature and haters of God. God reaches down sovereignly to choose His elect and redeems them by Christ alone. Christians are saved by Christ and He took our sinful iniquity when He died on the cross. If you know these things, have repented of your sins, accept Christ as your savior then you can answer that is why you are a Christian.

I encourage you to think about the greatest sacrifice, really think & allow your heart & mind to open. A parent giving their beloved to suffer for you. For the innocent beloved to carry your burden and suffer for you. To feel that love for you completely wrapped around you. That emotion and feeling of love is the holy spirit. Knowing what was done for me is why I am a Christian. PRAYER to accept Jesus-Lord, I know that I am a sinner: If I died today I would not go to heaven. I now turn to you, asking you to forgive my sin, come into my life, and be my Savior. Help me live for you from this day forward.

I'm a christian because I realized I was a sinner, and that believing the Gospel (good news) of the grace of God/The Gospel (good news) of Christ is the only way to be saved.

The only way we can know if someone is saved is by listening to their words concerning the accomplishments of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. That's the ONLY valid testimony! What does he/she believe was accomplished by that death, burial and resurrection? That's the key point! Does he/she believe it was an all-sufficient reconciliation where the entirety of the world's sin debt was concerned?

Some people went to Christian school , then go to the sermon became the pastor or elders. But I do not understand one thing , what is a Christian ? I Am Just graduated from the seminary is a Christian? God whether to recognize it ?

Thank God! Can we meet here is God's arrangement, I talk about some of my understanding, what if there is wrong, please point it out to everyone. I also believe in God, but I can not say that he is a qualified Christian because my body too much crime, and pleaded guilty to the crime scene to live in pain every day, but could do nothing, the Scripture also say that people can not be without holiness see main, so I can not be a sin to heaven.
