How do you change the language on Windows Movie Maker?
To change your Windows Movie Maker audio file name extension (format) to .wma all you need to do is Publish/Finish it. Published video is exported in .wmv format, while… audio is mixed-down into .wma format. Simple. Publish/Finish the project audio .
You can't change a .wma to a .mp3 file using Windows Movie Maker. You need an Audio Converter to do that. During the Publishing/Finishing process Windows Movie Maker automat…ically converts audio into .wma files. It does not allow you to choose any other audio format. Google: Free Audio Converters and download one online. Install the converter and follow the instructions for conversion. In your case, you want to make sure the Output Source Format selected is .mp3.
Sometimes computer users are unable to find the Windows Movie Maker program on their systems. (NOTE: If you have the new Windows 7 operating system, you DON'T have Windows Mo…vie Maker. You will have to download the 2.6 version or Windows Live Movie Maker). But, if you have Xp or Vista, and can't find your Windows Movie Maker program, try this: > Click Start > Click on All Programs > Click (or double-click) on the icon if it is listed If it is not listed: > Click on Start, Computer, Local Disk (C:) > Open Program Files folder > Scroll down and find the Windows Movie Maker folder > Open it and click (or double-click) on the icon/application If you still can't find the program do this: > Click Start(orb) > In the Start Search space type: MOVIEMK.exe > Click(or double-click) on the Application
Unfortunately, you can't change any of the video transitions in Windows Movie Maker.
Microsoft designed Windows 7 for easier use. In doing so, they either eliminated or 'striped-down' applications included in earlier versions of their operating systems. Wind…ows 7 incorporates Windows Live Essentials products: Windows Live Mail, Windows Live Photo Gallery and Windows Live Movie Maker. You can download any of these programs from the link I've provided for you in the Related links section below. This does not mean you can't download the Windows Movie Maker v2.6 version for Vista though. You can have both versions if you wish (like I do) since they are both 'stand-alone' applications. I've also added a link for the full Windows Movie Maker for Vista download in the Related links section as well.
No. Unfortunately Windows 7 operating system does not include Windows Movie Maker, Windows Photo Gallery or Windows Mail. However, Windows 7 users are offered downloads for …Windows Live Essentials which includes those programs (Windows Live Mail, Photo Gallery and Movie Maker). The only problem with the Windows Live Essentials programs is that they are 'stripped-down' versions of their predecessors, lacking many features/functions. Windows 7 users can download the actual Windows Movie Maker v2.6 (for Vista) though. A direct link to the 2.6 version download can be found in the Related Links on the bottom of this posting.
The original proposal for Movie Maker was made by Ian Mercer at Microsoft.

To change the duration default for photos/pictures: > Click on Tools, Options and the Advanced tab > Beside Picture Duration, increase or decrease the 'seconds…' to the desired time This Duration Default for pictures will be applied to each slide/picture in your video. The maximum Default Duration for Pictures is 30 seconds (minimum 0.125). If you want clips to show longer than that you will have to manually drag them along the time-line.
