Not real hard but you need direction. Get a manual on your car from the parts store or from AUTOBOOKSONLINE.COM. It will cost about $20
The fuel pump is inside the fuel tank.
Check on the inside of the fuse panel cover; mine is the same color as the plastic molding and was hard to see.
Is there any air flow sensor on chrysler 97 sebring,, or what is causing it to be hard to start, any only runs at idle and back fires when you try to give it gas?? But after it runns 5 mins or so it runs half way desent// It does not use a MAF.
When a 1998 Chrysler Sebring makes noise while shifting the transmission should undergo a fluid change. Dirty fluid can cause hard shifting. The engine should also be given a diagnostics test to see if all the sensors are functioning correctly.
I found a place where you can buy PCM' for 96-06 Chrysler Sebring, Dodge Stratus & Cirrus with a lifetime warranty, programmed & updated for your VIN & mileage. I found a PCM there for my 1997 Chrysler Sebring Convertible JS which has California emissions...so a hard part to find on the East coast. I will be buying it in about 2 weeks, so I'll let you know how it goes! http://www.allcomputerresources.com/ 1-866-699-5230 ALL Computer Resources, Inc. $199 FREE Shipping
you must remove the plenum on top of the motor to excess the spark plugs it is not hard but time consuming to say the least
If it is leaking through the crack next to the soft/hard top just put some sealant there and it should be fine.
It is located directly below the distributor. It is on the transmission bellhousing on the firewall side. It is hard to see without some stuff moved out of the way.
It is right on top where the top hose goes to the motor. There are four bolts and some hoses not to hard to change; one bolt under the intake is hard to get other than that it is not hard to do. On a 2.7L it is under the housing where the LOWER hose hooks to the engine, not the upper.
It is located on the lower right hand corner on the inside toward the engine. It is very hard to see and best seen from the bottom side.
