You cannot. A Newton is a measure of force, a pound is a measure of mass. The two measure different things and basic dimensional analysis teaches that you cannot convert from one to the other without additional information.

Whoa. Let's take this slowly.

-- One meter cubed (cubic meter) is the same amount of space as 1,000 litres.

The newton doesn't belong here at all.

-- A "newton-meter" is a unit of energy, and has nothing to do with a volume of space.

-- A "newton meter cube" is a meaningless quasi-unit, with no physical significance.

Nm3 means Normal Metre Cube, not Newton Meter Cube.

This confussion is seen in a lot of people.
