at the moment you delete the autorun.inf if the system is infected the virus wil paste a new autorun.inf again. so unless u take your pendrive ( if it is) to a system that is not infected you will nor be able to delete it. if ytou are using a non-infected sustem then 1. go to command promt 2. enter in to the specific drive 3. type attrib -r -s -h ( to change the attributes of autorun.inf file) 4. now use explorer to view the contents and delete the files (dont double click on the pendrive. it will make the system infected too) be sure to delete dllcache.exe too 5. if the infected drive is a hard disk ten u can only reinstall windows to get rid of it. after installation be sure to delete autorun.inf from all drives as described above

Try re-installing windows, that should work. If its infected badly it will be a pain to find it and correct it. Took me about 4 hours. Re-installing windows will make a new copy of windows and you can delete the old copy. Just make sure you delete the right one.

This has nothing to do with devC++, it has to do with Windows file permissions. You clearly don't have the access level required to delete these files so you'd be best advised to leave them well alone or ask your supervisor to delete them for you.
