That's a 12 gauge, the Model 11's had different serial no sets for different gauges. That particular shotgun was made either late 1923 (according to the actual factor record books) looks like November. But the best way to tell is to look at the letters on the left side of the barrel in front of the receiver for the date code, then go to the Remington Society of America web site and look under that manufactured date link to look it up in the table.

i have the same serial # and i found out that it was a 1973 remington and it shoots like hell i hate it its to old
