After you kill the Boss in the Vault the game credits start to roll, hit escape then you have the option to complete one final task for a cash and points reward, you can then restart the game 'playthrough 2' keeping your character, skill level, weapons etc.

∙ 14y agoWhen you beat the game, if you quit and load your game again you will have the option to load playthrough 2. You will keep your equipment and money, but the story restarts with harder enemies scaled to your level. You can still play on your first game, so you can switch between one and two.

∙ 12y agoAfter playing through Mass Effect 2 the first time you have the option of starting a new game and selecting "Import ME2 Character". If you do this, all of your current skills and weapons will be transferred to the new game, however, paragon/renegade points will not be carried over, and will be discarded.

∙ 14y agoby going to new and selecting the option Import ME2 or ME1 character this will allow you to get 200k credits, 50k of every mineral resource(palladium,platinum,etc.) and a 25% Experience boost to your squad as well as an oppurtunity to respend skill points from the first playthrough( i had 20+ points to spend when i did my respending the first level up on the second playthrough) not just for your imported character but the whole squad that you had recruited the first playthrough.
Try it and see for yourself. I tried it myself and got all this stuff i mentioned above in the very beginning of the 2nd playthrough. Oh and you get all the weapons you got in the first playthrough back as well in the beginning.

While not absolutely necessary, Mass Effect has a few story perks from decisions you made in Mass Effect. If you want the full Mass Effect story you should definitely pick it up as nothing does more justice to the game than playing through it.

If you played Mass Effect 1 the second game imports your old game save, so it would depend on how you played Mass Effect 1 as to whether or not Kaiden is alive. If you did not play Mass Effect 1, then the game will default to the character with the opposite gender to Shepard. So Ashley will be there with a male Shepard, Kaiden for a female one. There is no such thing as gravitational force. Mass curves spacetime and stuff moves through spacetime in straight spacetime paths. The effect of this is what we call gravity. The more the mass the greater the curvature of spacetime.
Where to buy the second disc for mass effect 2?
Mass Effect 2 should have come with two discs. If you do not have the second one, something went wrong, and it would be best to return it to who/whom you received it from. If that's not possible, you're going to have to go to a store and buy the game again. It will come with the second disc.
Is therre any way to start mass effect 2 as a female with Ashley alive?
If you don't import a save game from Mass Effect, you will automatically choose the character of the opposite gender to survive. If you play Mass Effect first, though, you can choose if you want Ashley or Kaidan to survive. So to play Mass Effect 2 as a female and with Ashley alive, you would have to play Mass Effect and let Kaidan die on Virmire.
