After opening GIMP choose your background color as well as foreground color. Then click "File" then "New" and select whatever sizes you want. After you have a new layer, click on the brush tool and start drawing!

Some software than can be downloaded for picture editing includes PhotoScape, Paint, Serif PhotoPlus, and Photo Pos Pro. Pixia, PhotoFiltre, and GIMP for Windows are also downloadable.
First you go to Gimp. You go to file and you press New. Yout make the size how ever you like. Then, you can put a picture on Gimp and use the text bow to type.

Shoot at the highest megapixel rating the camera can do and resize the picture in the computer using software like Photoshop, Corel or GIMP. RAW format is always the best if you know how to handle it.
Unless you have created a picture using vectors, you can never increase the size of the picture without pixelation, unless you have some some for of enhancing software (But i know nothing about this type of software) because enlargeing it basically spreads the colour over to the next pixel, causing it to blur.
GIMP is a free photo management software that anyone can download online. GIMP runs off user donations. Although GIMP is not as powerful as software such as Adobe Photoshop, GIMP has almost all of Photoshop's features and is free to use.
