You get more trucks by going to your objectives screen (keyboard shortcut N) and ordering a new truck or by going to one of used truck dealers which are highlighted on the map by a red D. It goes without saying that you need to have enough money to purchase the truck you want to buy. The truck, when purchased, will be delivered to your garage. If you have more than one garage, then you get to specify which garage it should be delivered to.

if youre thinking about buying one than buy American long haul. If you already have haulin that stick with it because it is 90% the same. American long haul has -Mexico which is 3 extra cities -a few extra trucks and trailers -the gas prices are just a bit higher example: in haulin the gas price in Orlando is $2.94/ gallon but in American long haul it costs $3.31/ gallon - there are more buildings for example: a rest stop between Vancouver and Calgary has a hotel in haulin but in American long haul it has a hotel and a gas station which can be useful.

Explain why large trucks have bigger steering wheels than small trucks or cars?

The rotation of the steering shaft drives the turning of the wheels, and buses and large trucks have wheels which are significantly more massive than cars' and light trucks', requiring more torque on the steering shaft to turn the wheels. The larger steering wheel gives a mechanical advantage in turning the steering shaft; a longer moment-arm from the application of force by the driver on the steering wheel results in a larger torque on the steering shaft from the same force applied.
