First you need to make sure your audio/music file is compatible with Windows Movie Maker:
.aif, .aifc, .aiff, .asf, .au, .mp2, .mp3, .mpa, .snd, .wav, .wma
Right-click the audio/music file you want to use in your Windows Movie Maker project and select Properties from the drop-down menu that appears. The file name extension (format) must be one of those listed above to be compatible. (NOTE: mp3 is most popular, but all formats listed will work in the program).
If your audio/music file is in a compatible format, open your Windows Movie Maker. Click on the Import Media in the upper left corner of the menu bar. Use the Browse option to locate the audio/music file. Click on it (click Import button optional) and it will be imported into the program.
You will see the audio/music file appear in the Imported Media viewing pane. At this point, make sure you are in the Time-line view (not Storyboard). Click, hold and drag the audio/music file from the viewing pane down into the Audio/Music track and drop it there.
Click the Play button (arrow) in the Preview Pane on the right to hear the results.
There is no Mix Feature in Windows Movie Maker.
You can't do that in Windows Live Movie Maker.
You can download music from just about anywhere on the internet, or rip it from a CD for use in Windows Movie Maker.
Nope. Can't do that in Windows Live Movie Maker (for Windows 7). Windows Live is a stripped-down version of the Vista 2.6 Movie Maker. Not a lot of features or functionality with Windows Live version. Sorry.
Rip the music from the CD (using the feature in Windows Media Player). Once you have the files on your computer, locate and import them into Windows Movie Maker.
First you have to rip the CD to your computer (use Windows Media Player for that). Once you have the CD music on your computer, Import it into Windows Movie Maker using the Import Media feature.
Music has to be imported to Windows Movie Maker first. Once it is in the program, drag it to the Audio/Music track (in the Time-line view).
There is no 'internal' music for Windows Movie Maker if that is what you are asking. All imported media has to come from an external source (like your computer). You can find free music to download at places like BeeMp3, ect.
Music must be imported into Windows Movie Maker then dragged into the Music/Audio track in the Time-line view.Titles and Credits can be added to the movie by accessing the Titles and Credits feature (Tools, Titles and Credits).
itunes or in your my music folder or maybe even try the internet
You can't do that. There is only one audio/music track to work with in Windows Movie Maker.
use windows movie maker
