steps to install PCSX2 :
1. Download it from the site you have known (try in www.emulator-zone.com).
2. Unpack it with winzip or winrar to the folder you want.
3. If unpacking progress has finished, just go into the folder of PCSX2 and then click the icon of PCSX2.
4. There will be rise a notice that the emulator must be configured.
5. Just easyly click to the drop down bar and choose one of the plugin. Dont forget to locate the bios area then choose the bios from drop down menu.
6. After the time you have configured here and there (it's easy so dont be worried) click OK.
7. Then click again the icon of PCSX2.

How to cheat with pcsx2?
This is a tricky business. If you want simple solution, you can just Google for pnach (this is how it is spelled :P) files that other users have made. The problem with this is… that you won't find what you need most of the time. If that happens, you need to one yourself. First you need to load up your game, then press ESC. Scroll up in the consol and look for the word "CRC" (the line will look like: loadElfFile: cdrom0:\\something etc CRC = BB3D833A) This is the patch name that will be loaded when you open this particular game. then you have to create a text file in the patch folder. The file name have to be the same as the CRC, and the extension is .pnach (so in this case, it will be BB3D833A.pnach). Take care not to save it as .pnach.txt or it won't load. if it is a popular game, chances are that you will already have this file in the patch folder. If so, just open and add more chat (which I will tell you how in a bit) other wise, copy and rename works too. Change the top 2 line of the file if you want, it helps identify the game, but it is optional. now the cheat; it's actually just something that changes the value inside the memory. So you can change the level of your charactor, money, amount of items ammo and whatever. For this example, I'll increase the money. Load up your game and take note of your current money (say, it is 3390). press escape, click misc then patch finder. click on "Specific value" option and type 3390 in the box, then click search. You will usually get a few matches showing up. click close. then click run >> execute to continue the game. Then go and buy something so that your money changes (lets say it is now 1200). press esc again to stop the game, go to misc >> patch finder, click on specific value option and type 1200 in the box and click search. You will find that the results are smaller. keep doing this until there is 1 result. Then click on that one result and click Add button. and copy the code in the third box (looks like patch=0,EE,00000001,char,) and paste it into your cheat file that you created earlier. change patch=0 to patch=1 to activate the code. change char to byte, and change to your desire amount of money :D Dont forget that the value is in hex format. so if you want 5000, you have to use 1388 as value (you can use your calculator that comes with windows to calculate this :)) I hope that helps somewhat :x (MORE)
