If you can't comfortably squint your eyes they're too tight, and feel the base of the braid, twist or cornrow, is there a bump under it? If so remove immediantly. If you feel as if nothing tight is on your head, you're good!
It depends on how tight you have the braids. Don't have them so tight that your head is hurting, but have them tight enough that they wont come out if your running around.
Very tightly. But not too tight. If you braid too tightly you could have hair loss. Just remember threes should be no pain, strain on the scalp, small bumps and no headaches...these are all indicators of braids or cornrows that are too tight.
Secure micro braids with a rubber band at the end of the braid. Place it where the slip know was created. The rubber band must be wrapped around the braid several times to make it as tight as possible.
No if the hair is tight it will not shed
yes they do hurt your hair if their really tight
No it does not. In fact I have then in right now and this African lady does then for me everytime! Just tell then not to braid too tight especially around your edges to prevent breakage.
Messy braids, not like the tight braids with the 1700's look, lol!! but you know let her hair hang loose a bit but braid it at the end, oh also have ur hair parted then put ur fingers through your hair , it looks really cool, and hot!! I do it alllll the time!!
yes, but not the best way.loose braids will lock faster then tight cause they can unravel move and knot up.
Yes, pulling it very tight. Also to when you put special type of oil in it to make it grow.
