How do you make shower gel?

the recipe I've been researching calls for a base of unscented high quality shampoo. To this you add distilled water, your botanicals, color, fragrance and/or essential oils. Final ingredient - 1-2 tsp salt. Salt is what thickens the formula.

It is really easy actually. First you need to microwave 3 cups of water for 3 minutes. When the water is done, take it out and add a few packs of unflavored Gelatin. (I am not sure if flavored gelatin, such as Jello, works) Mix the gelatin and water together. Next, add about 2 cups of bubble bath/shower gel/soap. (I made it with bubble bath, so that probably works the best out of those 3) If you want, you can add sprinkles or glitter. (I added sprinkles and I must have mixed to hard, because mine turned the color of sewage!) When you are done, pour about 1 cup of the mixture into Ziploc baggies. Place them in fridge for about 3 to 4 hours. Make sure you keep refrigerated until you take bath/shower otherwise it will turn back to liquid. If it does turn back to liquid, just refrigerate it again for a few hours more. I hope you enjoy! Ingredents: 3 cups of water, 2 cups of bubble bath, few packs of gelatin (unflavored), sprinkles or glitter (optional), Ziploc baggies. Makes about: 8 or 9 baggies full. (if there is leftover mixture in the bowl, you can add more to the bags) Use for: showers or baths. For showers, put jelly on bath puff/washcloth. For bath, place under running bath water. Enjoy!
