How do you migrate Pokemon in Pokemon heartgold?

Here are the steps:

1. Make sure you have the National Dex and go to Fuchsia City.
2. Enter the Pal Park and save, then turn it off.
3. Insert Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, or LeafGreen game pack into the DS. (Does not work with 3DS or DSi.)
4. Turn the game back on and it'll show an extra option and it'll say "Migrate Pokemon" or something.
5. Select the option and you will be taken to where it'll ask you if you want to migrate. Press Yes.
6. It'll tell you to please select 6 Pokemon from your PC boxes from your GBA Pokemon game.
7. Once you have select it, press "Confirm" or "Okay", whichever one it says.
8. Open up your file where you left off at the Pal Park.
9. Talk to the guy behind the counter and he'll let you in. You'll have 6 Park Balls, but they have like the same rate as a Master Balls'.
10. Note: Legendaries can be caught with only one Park Ball without a fail. So it'll be easy, but if you have Water type Pokemon that you have selected, then you'll need to use Surf in ponds or the sea.

well you have to put your Pokemon gamepak at the bottom of your ds then put on heart gold then go in find migrate to game click 6 Pokemon in your PC boxes after that go to fuchsia city go to pal park catch the Pokemon you migrated and there you have it you migrated to you heartgold and this also works with Pokemon diamond Pokemon pearl Pokemon platinum Pokemon heart gold and Pokemon soulsilver hope i helped
