A person "jive talking" to another person is simply lying to them. For example: "Don't you be jive'n me, fool!" This simply means "Don't lie to me."
Jive turkey was a derogatory slang word in African American Vernacular English, used to refer to someone who was unreliable, made empty promises, or who was full of bluste…r. The insult became widely known among white Americans in the 1970s, particularly via television comedies (e.g., The Jeffersons). The term has been used by later television characters (e.g., Homer Simpson) in order to demonstrate that they are out of touch with modern youth trends, culture, and language. Jive turkey, however, was already falling into disuse when it was spoken by supposedly "hip" characters in the 1970s, such as George Jefferson, and later in 2008 by Cornelius Banks (Tim Meadows) in the movie "Semi-Pro." The humorous/interesting sound of the term has also resulted in it being use in complimentary fashion, often by those who don't know what it means and so make up their own meaning. The term has also been translated to mean a white person who can dance. Turkey, being white meat, represents the white person. Jive is a form of dance.

On the recorder there are 8 holes. You play the recorder with your left hand in the beginning. So take your left thumb and put it on the hole on the back of the recorder. Put …your left pointer finger on the first hole. That's a B. Put your middle finger on the next hole. That's an A. Put your ring finger on the third hole. That's a G. These are the basic notes that you have to know to play recorder. Now that you know the notes, try a very easy song. Hot Cross Buns To play Hot Cross Buns you need to know the notes B, A and G. ( Before you learn this song, you practice the notes and make sure you have them down ) The notes for Hot Cross Buns are- B-A-G B-A-G G-G-G-G A-A-A-A B-A-G Make sure your thumb is on the hole on the back of the recorder. (It's the ONLY hole on the back of the recorder ) Put your thumb on the hole and your pointer finger on the first hole on the front of the recorder. Blow. If you made a squeaky sound, 1. Your fingers aren't completely covering the holes or 2. you blew too hard. If you blew and it made a sound that was not too squeaky or too low, you did it right. Next put your middle finger down on the second hole. Blow. If you squeaked them one of the two reasons is probably happening right now. Fix it and keep trying. If you did it, wonderful! Now put your ring finger down on the third hole. Blow. If you squeaked, you'll know why, fix it and try again. If you didn't, that's awesome. Now keep your fingers on the G, All the three fingers are down, and blow 4 times. If you squeaked, you'll know why, and if not, great. Now lift up your ring finger and you have an A. Blow 4 times. Again if you squeaked, you'll know why if not your almost done. Now go back to a B. Go back to your pointer and thumb finger. Blow. Put one finger down into an A. Blow. Put your ring finger down to a G. Blow. If you did it, awesome. If not, keep trying! It can take a lot of practice.
