Remove the glove compartment with just a few screws its pretty simple. Once you do that you will see the passenger airbag because its pretty big. You will look up into the gl…ove compartment and find four screws. Take them out unplug two wires and your done. Just make sure the battery cable is unpluged before you begin. Its a simple job I did it myself and it only took 45 minutes to take out and replace. I just cant find the airbag module, if you know how email me at email@example.com

You can train up to 3 different devices. Place the handheld controller within 1 inch or the universal transmitter on visor and push the buttons of both transmitters. The red light on the visor will begin to flash slowly. 3) When the light starts flashing rapidly ( this may take as long as a minute). Release both buttons. It now should be trained.

A chime will sound to indicate that the transmitter programming mode has been entered (allow 3 seconds for chime to sound). 5. Press [LOCK] and [UNLOCK] buttons simultaneously for 1 second and release. 6. Press and release any button on the same transmitter and a chime will sound after successfully programming the transmitter. 7. Repeat steps 5 through 6 to program additional transmitters. 8. Depending on what year... and body style on a 1997 Coupe (LXi in particular) it's next to the brake fluid reservoir. There are 3 relays on the firewall in that location. The c…enter (on mine) is the ASD relay. Sometimes just cleaning the contacts properly and applying some dielectric grease will bring them back from the corrosive/moisture laden dead.
You have to go to the dealership to have your keyless remote reprogrammed. They have a scan tool to tell the computer that you are using a new key fob. I just did it to …my 1997 sebring. I knew the service manager, so he let me borrow it, it took me about 15 minutes, most will do it for a small fee, some will do it as a courtesy.
How do I program a transponder key for a 2001 Chrysler Sebring 2 door coupe if I already have 2 working keys?
Sorry, the 2 dr Sebring is actually a Mitsubishi and cannot add keys without a programming tool.

The EGR Vacuum Solenoid on a 2001 Chrysler Lxi Coupe 3.0 V6 should be on the left of the upper manifold. The black cylinder that's on the outside is what you're looking for, i…t's on the otherside connected to the same plate as that. May have to remove the manifold or just unbolt it. You can buy the Solenoid from any auto store or google image search one for either the 01' Sebring, Stratus, or Mitsu Eclipse. They are all the same.
