instructions for an Australian car glove box on left.remove coin tray in centre console , pops out when pryed with flat blade tools [butter knifes]. dissconnect 2 unused plugs attached to back and remove. when this is out there are 2 screws holding centre console down plus clips at rear which dissengage when you pull it up. remove gear shift knob [unscrews].lift out centre console unplug power outlet at front as you do.When this is out 2 screws at bottom of centre facia with be accessible, remove. now you can start pulling centre facia out it is retained by clips so pry and work back and forth till you get it. be gentle around the dashboard or you will mark it up.
ok so far so good. CAUTION YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PULL CENTRE FACIA CLEAR AS YOU WILL BE HINDERED BY HEATER AND VENT CONTROL CABLES. to access these cables you must remove glove box and drivers under dash panel.
Glovebox removal. Mine had black plastic clips both sides[difficult] these have to be removed in order to let the glovebox drop and access the mounting bolts and screws. the lid will have to be partially closed to remove these. pry clips to inside of box partially close lid to be clear of stops. clips need to be at right angles to original position pushed to rear of slot and then pulled inwards [good luck i had trouble] now you can remove screws 2 top 2 bottom and 3 10mm fasteners 1 at top behind catch 2 at bottom either side. when its out switch and light plugs removed trace the heater actuating cable.
Heater actuating cable is removed by unclipping the outer cable holding point thed slide it of its pin.
Drivers side panel is secured by screws most you will see the one that will give you trouble is behind the switches on the right side. pop out these switches to access this screw.
Once this is lowered you can get at the vent control cable, removed with the same method as previously.
Now finally you can pull the centre facia back and access the 4 radio mounting scews . hope you find this saga helpful.
