There is a bunch caled NRSA, National Stone Restoration Alliance on the interent that do nothing but fix stains, etches, cracks, and granite fabricator screwups. I would check with them. Be sure and tell them what type of granite and what type of stain.
Be sure and use the special cleaners for granite, the one recommended for your particular sealer that was used. Reseal often.
You have to scrub really hard with Ajax.
Use hot water and soap to remove the cooking oil stains from marble counter top. The hot water will separate the oil from the marble and make it easier to clean.
If it's really a stain you can try putting 6% hydrogen peroxide (hair dressers bleach) and add three or four drops of ammonia if you have any. When it stops bubbling wipe it off with a soft, damp cloth.
But, there's a good chance the lemon has bleached the marble and the only way to remove this mark is to have a professional rebuff or resurface it.

Water and oil do not mix. To dissolve stains, you have to use the principal of like dissolves like. An oil or alcohol will dissolve greasy stains.
A poltice can be used on some stones. Search for granite poltice online. Be sure and try it on a scrap section of your countertop before attempting, no use in making things worse. A granite countertop has to be kept very clean, allow no spills to set at all.
Cooking oil & olive oil stain clothes all the time, but you can use a good stain remover to get rid of these tough stains. Most of the products have special instructions on them that are easy to follow. Otherwise a general tip for oil stains is to remove them immediately because the longer they last the more difficult they will be to remove as they set into the fabric.
