Pull drawer straight out until it stops. Then give the drawer a few sharp tugs straight out by grabbing on the sides of the drawer (NOT THE FRONT!). If it doesnt budge, increase the strength of the tugs. You wont break anything. There is a friction fit glide on the metal rail that you must overcome the friction of (the friction prevents the drawer from easily pulling out of the dresser.

To replace, align drawer on plastic guide and metal rail. Push in until it stops. Then with the palm of your hand give the drawer front a few sharp taps to oevercome the friction fit stop (in reverse).

this will depend on the style of track that is used in the piece. In most cases, there will we one of two different designs. either a single track running down the middle, with a sort of rubber or flexible plastic stopper at the end. in this case, you just need to pull the drawer out to the edge of the track, and then give it a good swift tug, it should come loose. Or you may have one with sliding tracks on either side of the drawer. These tracks come in a couple different sub designs. one, you can slide out to the edge of the track, gripping the bottom of the drawer, lift up slightly, then slide out the rest of the way. (note, this will usually be on the drawer slides that are just the simple wheel on track type. These are often the same type found in newer household drawers, such as in your kitchen) the other is a bearing style track. these will generally have a little tab that you need to slide either up or down. to use this type, you will slide the drawer out as far as you can, then slide the tabs the correct direction, and then pull the drawer out.
