Assuming that you mean "wiper blade" (blade and frame) which are replaced often rather than "wiper arm" (piece from the spindle at the hood to the wiper blade) which are rarely ever replaced, the 1978 Plymouth Trailduster has the most common hook-end wiper arms. See Sources and Related Links below for installation videos. Also, purchase the replacement blades first and there will be additional instructions/illustrations on the replacement packages. Locate and press the tab or button where the wiper blade is inserted into the hook of the wiper arm and pull wiper blade out of hook. You may have to rotate and flex the blade to make enough clearance for the hook to pass through.
get a wiper removal tool and it goes under the arm and you just pry the arm up off the splines to take it off.
Plymouth Raiders was created in 1978.
the blade pulls straight up off of the splined wiper arm, they make a special tool that you can buy to make it easier to take off.
Janet Fookes (born February 21, 1936) succeeded Hubert Medland as the sixth Member of Parliament for Plymouth Drake, serving between 1974 and 1997, including the whole of 1978.
Start by checking the fuses. If those are good, then you move on to the switch, make sure there's power going to the switch, and make sure the switch has continuity when it is engaged. If that checks out, unplug the wiper motor and ensure that power is getting to the wiper motor. If power is getting to it, jump the wiper motor from a power source other than the wiper motor circuit to verify that the fault is in the wiper motor... if it doesn't function at that point, then you need to replace it. The wiper motors are fairly common... almost certain any of the major auto parts chains can get one, but I'd recommend giving Rock Auto a try first.

Depends on overall condition, mileage, options, etc...
