The factory-preset password can be found in the manual (which can be found online on the Phillips homepage). On my Phillips DVDP 3264 it was 136900. If you have changed the password - ask Phillips tech support.
Edit: This password even works on Philips DVD player model# dvp3588k.
No, a dvd device is either a DVD player, or a DVD drive on a computer.
you could take apart a PC and sotter together the main plug in wires to the side of the DVD player.
where can i find a Emerson DVD player at. model. ewd7001 trusurround.
No. A blue ray disc has a blueray laser to read the HD disc. Also a blueray player needs a spinning reader to read the blueray disc. The spinning reader is also what is used to read DVD's and therefore will read DVD's. A DVD player does not need a blueray laser because the disc can be read without one. If you want a movie in HD but you don't want to buy a whole new player, you can buy a HDVD (HD DVD).A normal DVD player will read that.
The DVD player is good because it allows you to watch movies and listen to songs..Well most of the DVD players....It is also useful...Useful to watch dvds through if you don't have a DVD drive in your laptop or computer to watch them with. It is used for peoples entertainment too. DVD players don't typically have a 'reset' feature. If you are speaking of clearing a password from the parental control function, you will need to let us know the model of the DVD player you have.
Sounds more like a cabling issue rather than the DVD player itself. But if you want to try a reset, just unplug it for a few minutes. That'll cause what's know in the industry as a `hard reset'.
MP3 Player is the type of device, I-Pod is a brand name for an MP3 player. EG: DVD Player. Brand name, sony, toshiba, Phillips etc.
Try with: 0699, 0769, 20699,20769,704 or 052 I could not get it to work with either of them (with slight variations).
Walmart, Target, and Best Buy are three major companies that carry Phillips brand electronics on their store shelves. The company Phillips also has their own online store where products can be purchased.
Press the Stop button on the remote control and at the same time press the Stop button on the DVD player itself for 10 seconds.
i had the same problem on my 05 touring. Try to disconnect the car battery for a few days, that will reset the DVD player. It worked for me.
Probably because as a portable dvd player with a small screen, you are expected to sit close enough to see. This means that you can reach and so dont need a remote. Some portable dvd players are capable of being plugged into a tv, but these ones on the whole do have a remote
HI, There's a couple types of DVD formats. DVD - and DVD +. It's the way the data was written to the disk. Many older DVD player's wouldn't play the DVD + recordings and it was a few years before the manufacturers included the `+` system in their players. Maybe that the reason your DVD won't play on someone else's machine. Hope this helps, Cubby
this is due to service area, this usually occurs for all foreign disks, well most of them. Try a Phillips DVD player, they seem to play foreign movies or watever you have on the DVD
There are a number of reputable manufacturers for portable video or DVD players. Some of these manufacturers are Sony, Toshiba, Phillips and Panasonic.
