If your guinea pig is sneezing or showing any symptoms of sickness, it is best to take to a vet right away b/c it can be sicker than it seems to you. They are considered "prey animals" so they hide sickness until almost too late. Any signs of sickness should be viewed seriously with immediate action.
Always a good site to visit is www.guinealynx.info , this site tells you all you
need to know about your guinea pig. IF you suspect your guinea pig of being ill then your first protocol should be a vet. If you suspect your guinea pig has a cold, it could also be something much worse. A number of guinea pigs suffer from URI, which is a respiratory disease. The symptoms are crusty eyes, clicking sound when breathing, nose going in and out when breathing (dramatically). URI can develop, when the guinea pig has a heart disease, because the heart isn't strong enough, the lungs fill with fluid to reduce the lung capacity, to put less pressure on the heart. URI's symptoms can also be the back end of the guinea pig having 'spazums' when breathing or ill-normal breathing.

If a guinea pig has a cold and is showing symptoms such as blocked nose, sneezing, shivering etc. it could be due to many illnesses. It is most likely the common cold that guinea pigs can pick up just as easily as humans, as they are highly susceptible to sickness. If symptoms persist take your guinea pig to the vet, they will give you medication :)
Well u can tell when they are sneezing, scratching, not eating, drinking or sleeping. Hope this helps :)

i don't exactly know but you should always keep it by a heater so it doesn't catch a cold but you also don't want it to be too hot
You just have to keep him warm and dont let him outside if there is a frost.
You could also take him to the vet if it looks really bad.
Yes, the guinea pig can catch the common cold.
I feed my guinea pigs normal guinea pig food from the pet store, but for a little variety i give them letups, carrots and apples for a treat.
If a guinea pig or another pet is bitten it is best to seek medical help. This is not only for the wound but also due to the risk of rabies.
Mites. Treat any pig with suspected mange mites with ivermectin.
It is spelled "guinea pig". You got it right! :)

Yes, the guinea pig can catch the common cold.
Only Killer Guinea Pigs are cold blooded.
It depends how cold it is. If you can go outside in a short sleeve shirt and not be cold, it is probably OK for your guinea pig. If it's very cold though, don't take the guinea pig out...even in a blanket!
my guinea pig do not feel good i left the window open and i was cold in my home
Train your guinea pig every day, and when it does something right, feed it a treat.
Guinea pig food is the best option if in doubt. Also add fresh greens as a treat.
Take your guinea pig to the vet if something seems wrong...
Too much watermelon is bad for a guinea pig. It's best saved as a treat.
You can take your guinea pig outside they love that. Just make sure you don't let them eat any exotic plants. They can nibble on grass though. You can also lay on your back on the ground and put a treat on your stomach and see if your guinea pig crawls on you to get it. Another game is to put three plastic Easter eggs in front of your guinea pig. Put a treat in one of the eggs and see if your guinea pig can guess which one has the treat in it. Be creative there is tons of thing you can do.
