Do you need more hard drive space (storage for files folders games photos music etc) or do you need more memory (for a faster computer)? In the first case you will need to ad a new Hard Drive (or replace the old one with a bigger one, though this is a very complicated process as you will have to install your opperating system again). The easiest way to do this is to add an external hard drive, now quite cheap and come in at anywhere between 120 gigabites (1000 mb = 1 gb) and new terrabite ones. In the case of memory otherwise known as ram, you will have to open the case and replace or add to pre-existing ram chips on the mainboard. See link below to see what they look like. http://pirun.ku.ac.th/%7Eb4904281/pics/ram.jpg If you have laptop, this is all but impossible to do yourself.

The hard disk space needed for the windows XP service pack 3 updated is at least 1100 megabytes for the full installation or just 460 megabytes for the smaller one

If you are updating wirelessly try using wired setup or vice versa. If that doesn't help try contacting Sony.
It's only about 260KB, but keep in mind it will also update when you first launch it! So its only a fourth of a megabyte, which shouldn't take up much space at all on your computer! :)
Depends. Windows requires that you have SP1 installed and recommends you have SP2 installed, but SP2 it is not necessary, in order to install SP3. So if you have just SP1 installed you are going to get SP2 and all subsequent updates along with SP3. If you have SP2 installed the SP3 update is around 16.1 MB. If you have only SP1 installed the download will be as much as 57.5 MB. It all depends on what you already have installed. I suggest you install SP2 before installing SP3. I also suggest you let Automatic Updates install this at a time when you are not on the computer. If you are on Dial-Up, order SP3 CD from Microsoft.
You might as well buy a new PC if you want to update and you have that setup.
Since the latest update the Nike running app seems to use a lot of data (up to 10 MB p/day) while running in the background. I dont see any reason why it would need to use so much data.
