Do you need more hard drive space (storage for files folders games photos music etc) or do you need more memory (for a faster computer)? In the first case you will need to ad a new Hard Drive (or replace the old one with a bigger one, though this is a very complicated process as you will have to install your opperating system again). The easiest way to do this is to add an external hard drive, now quite cheap and come in at anywhere between 120 gigabites (1000 mb = 1 gb) and new terrabite ones. In the case of memory otherwise known as ram, you will have to open the case and replace or add to pre-existing ram chips on the mainboard.
