This is my best guess. The feezing point of chlorine compounds is much lower than that of water. So, by adding it to ice, it will lower the freezing point of the new solution much like etheleyne glycol does in the radiator of a car. However, bleach is much too corrosive to use in your car.
are you really stupid? ice melts without bleach you retard. if you need SO BADLY to melt it with the bleach, follow these directions.
1.pour bleach on ice
2.wait.
thank you, good question though. really =)
Bleach melts ice because bleach lowers the freezing point of the water.
It can but it might burn the surface your using it on and kill plants aroud it
If it is warmer than 32 degrees Fahrenheit, yes, but the same is true of any substance.
up to 5 mins.
Does ice melt faster in sun or shade
Cold water will not melt the ice cube in record time, but hot water will, but salt water will also melt it fast, but if you add both together the ice cube will melt alot fast. Deceasing time alot.
coloring doesnt matter. an ice is an ice cube. now, if that coloring is due to chemicals mixed into the water, then there'll be a difference in how fast it'll melt, but otherwise, they will melt at the same time.
A cylinder shaped ice cube will melt faster because it has a greater surface area than the rectangle-shaped ice cube has. Cubes of ice with less surface area will melt slower. Ice that has very low surface area has more ice concealed inside than it does on the outside. Therefore, ice cubes that have more surface area will melt faster... I hope this will help you.. :) ..
Hypothesis: Sprinkle Salt on ice would melt the ice. Null-Hypothesis: Sprinkle Salt do ice do not melt the ice. Theory behind hypothesis: (explain what any why you believe the salt do or interact to melt the ice like if it exert heat from solution) Hypothesis is just write the sentence describe what would you believe in the result and what might be the cause of what is going on. You then design experiment base on your hypothesis.
You can melt ice by using salted water, using salted water it helps to dissolve ice very slowly. Salt is broken down it originally comes from grit and grit is a big form of salt. You also can melt ice by tipping bleach over it, with bleach been a disinfectant it helps melt the ice by the strong force and the heat. You can also get rid of ice by rubbing it, when you rub it the friction rubs against the ice which then causes the ice to heat up and dissolve.
yes
it will become water If you melt an ice cube it will melt
no, but ice melt is a salt
To melt ice
Ice melt is made up of chemicals that are intended to melt ice. These chemicals often include salt as well.
No garlic powder can not melt ice.
If the oil is warmer than the ice cube then the ice will melt.
the ice melt when there s some heat move into it.
0° Celsius is the temperature at which ice starts to melt.
Paprika will NOT melt ice.
Application of heat makes ice melt, so global warming makes lots of ice melt.
