The heart pumps by periodically compressing itself. It is a muscle. There are four chambers; the right and left atria, and the right and left ventricles. The cycle starts in the SA node, a bundle of nerves near the right atrium. The right atrium contracts followed almost immediately by the left atrium. Each atrium forces its blood contents into its respective ventricle. The right atrium takes blood from the body and the left atrium takes blood from the lungs. A short period of time later, the right ventricle contracts followed almost immediately by the left ventricle. The right ventricle supplies blood to the lungs, while the left ventricle supplies blood to the body. There are six valves surrounding these four chambers that force the blood flow to only go in one direction.
Pumping - My Heart - was created in 1976.
the heart is our pumping organ
The whole heart is made of muscle to do the pumping
The pumping action involves the heart's chamber contracting and relaxing. The heart beat is one cycle of the heart going through this contraction and relaxation while pumping blood.
heart is the pumping organ of our body because if the heart is not pumping that makes you not alive and when it pumps that is the meaning that you are alive.
In the body, the main pumping organ is the heart.
ventricles
Systole is the term used for contraction, or pumping, of the heart.
pumping of the heart (cancer)
SA node because it produce current for the actual pumping of heart. heart funtion on the current
The heart stops pumping blood threw it
the pumping and the not pumping? diastollic and systollic?
