You cannot actually get a train from Laois to Cavan. There is no rail lines in Cavan. You could get a train from Laois to Dublin and then from Dublin go on the Sligo line to get near Cavan, or take a bus from Dublin or a stop along the Sligo, probably Longford or Carrick on Shannon, depending on where exactly in Cavan you are going to.

What counties of Northern Ireland have no coastline?

Tipperary, Tyrone, Roscommon, Cavan, Monaghan, Longford, Laois, Kilkenny, Carlow, Kildare, Westmeath, Armagh, Offaly, Fermanagh and Limerick. However Limerick is on the Shannon estuary, which is near the Atlantic Ocean so it can be argued that part of it is coastal.
