It depends on how good you are, and what you ride. If you are scared and mostly drive trails and hit small jumps, raceing isn't for you. If you are good, if you can drive a fast quad fast, then you might have a chance. Most pro racers have a good sponsor, and unless you are 100% shure you are good don't quit your day job. I beleve travis pastrana has Red Bull and Brian Deegan has metel mulisha as a sponsor. If you think you can handle raceing pro then you either need to save a lot of money up or get a business to sponsor you, pay for all your stuff. Once you win a lot of races then you go pro.

Not that hard, you just need to have a raw talent, practice everyday and don't get lazy by doing always the same tricks, try to innovate.Do competitions and do that for a long time and hopefully if you don't get injured or still have time to do it,you might become one. When your not on the water try to do something with a board under your feet,it will help you with your board control.Try to find a pretty good partner who can pull you,he wont only be your driver but a good coach.

Try first get into it before 13 year old.I was 13 years old when I landed My first mobe.

nowdays you have to do the standard(pete rose,7s,roll2blind,crow mobes, back mobes),but you have to have your own style.

It depends on who you are: what shape you're in and whether or not you've participated in other "board" sports before.

Being someone that's in good physical shape will help you out, and so will having experience in other action sports like Snowboarding, Skateboarding and Surfing.

For some people it's a really easy thing to pick up and for others it takes a lot longer to master, but once you get it it's like riding a bike, you're stuck with it forever. This really depends on whether or not you can understand and apply the technique of standing up on the board. Once you are out of the water, it should be fairly simple to stay upright as long as you have any sense of balance.
