My Theory on the Existence of GodBy Clayton A. D.

I believe that the existence of God is not only possible, but entirely likely. Science tells us that we are basically creatures that evolved from microorganisms, which survived on a frozen piece of rock flying through space-- most likely from some other planet, but possibly another source-- which crash-landed on earth, unfroze, and started the life cycle on this planet.

If that's true, that means we have "evolved" our consciousness as well, right? Or perhaps this could be the explanation of a "soul" in the creation theory.

In the movie Waking Life, a philosopher is viewed, who describes the telescopic nature our evolution-- and how that evolutionary process is accelerating, with less and less time between each evolutionary leap. He goes on to say that as this process becomes faster and faster, our evolution is going to be viewable within our lifetime, and then we may evolve several times in a single life time; but as it still continues to gain speed, we will eventually be evolving on a Moment-by-moment level. This would mean that our evolution would no longer be a racial (human) process, but an INDIVIDUAL process, in which each individual now has the capacity to evolve whatever it needs at any given moment. Our intellect (insight, foresight, problem-solving, etc.) would become practically infinite.

It sounds an awful lot to me like he's describing some sort of god.

So then if you believe that humans will one day be these god-like beings, you must realise that with the size of this universe, and especially its age, this must have happened hundreds of millions (if not more) of times, already. Perhaps not the reaching-god-like-capacity part, but at the very least the development of consciousness.

So then think of this: What if one-- or even SEVERAL races in this galaxy (let alone the who-knows-how-many-other galaxies there are in universe) had already gone through that process? Are you so arrogant to believe that we're really the first or only species ever to do this? If you're not, then you realise that another species* out there MUST be ahead of the game on us; and what about the first species* to reach that level? It must be so powerful by this point that it would see and know everything, and could do everything. That sounds exactly like God, to me.

* = I use the word "species" loosely-- remember that by this point, the "species" has evolved to the point that each member of the species which was, is now an individual speciesunto itself. But then, what about the very first one of the very first "species" to make that evolutionary step? Could it have become so powerful that it could strip away the other neo-species' ability to evolve to that point? Even if it had the ability and chose not to, couldn't there have easily been a different one which had evolved later, to have claimed the power and chose to use it? Hell, there could be an entire society of these beings living in existences (perhaps multiple existences at the same time, as suggested by that philosopher in Waking Life) who are always in debate or even war over the level of interference to have in our society. Yet I digress.

So it would seem the answer to "How is God made?" is: He evolved from a bit of microscopic crap floating on a giant frozen rock that crashed into a warm planet and survived.

Of course, that begs the question, where did the first living microscopic crap come from?

On a different note, why would God want us to worship him? Perhaps our collective consciousness still holds some small power as we evolve toward his level (Which, for the Christians: God says several times in The Bible that he wants you to be closer to him, and more like him. While we would never ACTUALLY catch up to his level, we would develop the infinite knowledge part, and probably other aspects as well. That should please him, right? Perhaps this has been the way he meant, all along, and we people just mis-interpretted it. Once again, I digress).

So if our collective consciousness does have some sway in the grand scheme, by worshipping-- and thus believing in-- such a god-like being, we could actually be granting it more power. If that's the case, it would probably be getting other species on other planets, and perhaps even in other galaxies to worship it as well. There could be many, many beings gathering worshipers like that and using that power to their own (or mutually beneficial) advantage. (Or they could even use it benevolently, for the good of only the worshipers' races- or even all races which that being cares for.) This would also open up the possibility to evil, gods, however-- but if such beings exist, we must be either protected from their wrath, or unnoticed by them due to their non-omnipotence (in the case that they may be highly powerful, but not all-powerful) and our relatively insignificant level of power.

Living in multiple existences would allow you multiple consciousnesses-- which I imagine would be like being able to jump your mind into any of the bodies that you have in those existences. I imagine that as you continue to evolve, you would be able to jump anywhere in existence, as though there just happened to be a body for you to jump into, anywhere in existence. Each of those separate consciousnesses could be gathering worshipers from different realities at the same time, adding power to the collective of consciousnesses which is the ONE consciousness.

So perhaps we're just a pawn in some dieties' elaborate game, or perhaps we really are the beloved creations of an all-powerful being who came before. Either way, the existence of God or "gods" seems pretty likely to me. After all, even the Bible says, "You will worship no other god before me." For quite some time, Christians have assumed this was metaphoric, and that these "other gods" were a poetic expression for worldly values (cars, money, other people, art, technology, things you own or want) or ideals. Perhaps it was literal, and God wasn't saying he was the only god, but that he is the Father God-- perhaps he was even the first.

Then again, it's always possible he's just one among the many, but maintained enough power (and interest) to care for, or at least communicate with, our world.

Answer 3

Nothing created God God was here forever which makes no sense. The creator of God would have to had been created and the creator of the creator of God would have to had been created. It never ends but yet there's a start to everything.

Opinion

God is not bounded by time as we humans are. He's outside of it, and is able to insert himself throughout.

Opinion/Answer 5

First of all, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Second of all, I believe whatever you believe in is true for you! Third of all, some people don't believe in god, or scientists theory you know! In my eyes, maybe not others, but mine, it is impossible for there to be only one god. However, as i said, you are entitled to your own opinions!
He as always been there. Nothing is impossible for god.

How did hell get started for man?

Hell was started, in general, when Lucifer, who was once an angel of god, tried to take over the heavens and defeat God. God did not appreciate this so he made hell and condemned Lucifer, who is also considered the Devil, to hell for eternity in which he will burn forever.

Do people get mad when he sends them to hell?

No, because it was not God who sent them to hell, it was their selves who made them unworthy of entering his house. Even if they do get mad it was then not Him. And by the way, when you mention God as "Him" you have to capitalize him.

How is it conceivable that the Love that made Heaven and Earth also made hell?

You really only have three choices:You must believe that God made heaven and hell - the Christian and Islamic views; You must believe that God made heaven but that hell does not really exist - the Judaic view;Neither heaven nor hell exists; they are just fairytales invented by religion - the atheist view.If the first of these choices seems inconceivable, then you are forced to consider each of the other alternatives.

Why is Hell pain?

Because God says that people that reject God have pain and go to Hell.

Do Fallen Angels Like Hell?

No. No one can like hell, it is the absence of God, and therefore the absence of anything good. Fallen angels were, like humans, offered a choice. They were able to choose God or reject Him, just as we are. They made their choice, and some chose to reject Him. They suffer hell just as much as we will if we chose to reject our Lord and our God!
